Kemula
|
Mep Kemula is an user interface to QEMU for Windows, a PC emulator. You can create virtual machines, which are as independent computes, run in a window, can have any operating system. This in a virtual HD, with no changes to your real computer. And this is free :) Kemula facilitates the use of QEMU, it can inclusive save a batch file (.bat) to you run your virtual machines by only double clicking on it. This project is being developed freely, without commercial interests, and little by little. We didn't supply support nor help about Kemula. Use for your bill and risk. You can now download and install the full package with Kemula (interface), QEMU (engine) and qvm86 (accelerator). The source code is provided, if you make good changes on it, please, send to us!
Optional: Kemula source code (for Delphi 7) = 64 kb See its interface (in 2006-10-17):
It is just the interface, QEMU for Windows should be installed. By default, Kemula will be installed on the same QEMU folder. Don't worry, this won't cause any conflict. If you download the full package, then it is very easy, just install and run it. To download QEMU, it is important to seek the version for Windows, because that emulator was developed initially for Linux. Seek for "qemu for windows" in search sites, or access the supplied link: Mep Kemula was tested and developed in QEMU 0.8.0, with the acceleration enabled (kqemu), but it does not depend her to work, because the one that he does is simply to call the qemu, based on the configurations that you to determine. See some systems running inside of QEMU, in Windows:
We thanked your interest for open source or free solutions of virtual machines. You can register your e-mail in our newsletter, at our home page, to be notified about new versions of Kemula. (Please, notice that the newsletter will be sent in Brazilian Portuguese).
| We sorry, but this column is still in Portuguese.
See here screenshots of systems running in a window Read here the QEMU's user documentation (in english) Tips of use to QEMU for Windows - Ele não acessa o drive de disquete nem CD diretamente. | ||
